DRONACHARYA’S TEST
In Mahabharata, Dronacharya was the royal guru for the Kauravas and the Pandavas.
His role was to impart knowledge from the Vedic scriptures about the Astras and the Sastras and also to make them prepared for any kind of warfare.
One day in the Gurukul school, Dronacharya decided to keep a competition of archery among his students to test their capabilities.
The Kauravas and the Pandavas participated in the competition with much relish. The target they were supposed to hit was the eye of a wooden bird which was placed on the branches of a huge tree.
Yudhisthir, as the eldest, took his position to aim at his target when he was interrupted by Drona.
Drona asked him to release the arrow only after he answers one of his questions.
